My name is Gert Maj. I live in Denmark, just outside Herning.
I have turned 60, and when I look back, I have always been creative, and especially colors, drawing and paitings have been a big part of my life.
More than 40 years ago, I got interested in american cars, and along side with the cars, car meets and good times, it also developed my interest for for painting on cars and motorcycles with airbrush, resulting in paintings in different qualities.
But a little more than 20 years ago, I found the right shelve, in regards of the paiting, and that is photograps and paintins of cars and motorcycles.
First I starte with oil paintings on black carton, but as the pictures got at little rough look, I switched to watercolors. And it offers completely different possibilities, and the details become much finer, and over the years I have refined the techniques.
